Al-Farabi Musikakademie

The first ideas for the Al-Farabi Music Academy emerged in 2014 against the background of an emerging challenge: More and more young and adult people came to Germany, many on the run from the Syrian civil war, but also from other ‘failed states’ such as Somalia and Afghanistan. Al-Farabi was created to help marginalized communities and give young refugees the opportunity to make music in Germany. Since its inception, it has been successful, but the organization is continuing to grow and connect with refugees across Germany.
