INTEMPO

INTEMPO, the recipient of the Adolf Busch Award in 2019, is a Stamford-based organization that provides high-quality classical and intercultural music education to low-income children predominantly from immigrant or first-generation backgrounds and from communities underrepresented in the arts. Its mission is to make music education accessible, relevant, and inclusive, helping students build critical emotional, cognitive, and behavioral skills, and empowering them to leverage these skills to achieve life success.
