Playing for Change: The Tintale Village Mother’s Society

Tintale, Udayapur, Nepal

Playing For Change is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music. The idea for this project came from a common belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people.

The Adolf Busch Award went directly to Playing for Change’s project, The Tintale Village Mother’s Society. This program teaches children harmonium, madal drums and traditional dances, hosted by the Mother’s Society: an anti-trafficking education program in Udayapur, Nepal.
